The Panasonic LUMIX DMW-FL580L (FL580) is a powerful external flashgun designed for use with Panasonic LUMIX Micro Four Thirds cameras. It delivers a guide number of 58 (metres) at ISO 100 and 100mm, and features an auto-zoom flash head covering a range of 12100mm on MFT cameras (or down to 7mm with the built-in wide-angle panel), making it equally suited to wide-angle and telephoto shooting situations.

The FL580L boasts an exceptionally fast recycling time of approximately 1.7 seconds at full power, and supports wireless master and slave TTL operation across 4 channels and 3 groups for flexible multi-flash setups. The flash head tilts from -7 to +90 and rotates 180 left and right for versatile bounce shooting. A built-in LED video light provides 100 lux output at 1 metre, doubling as an AF-assist lamp during stills photography, while high-speed sync support rounds out its feature set for creative flash photography.
