The Samyang 35mm T1.5 VDSLR II is a professional manual focus cine lens engineered for full-frame Canon EOS cameras and APS-C sensors. Built around an optical construction of 12 elements in 10 groups including high refractive index and aspherical elements and finished with Ultra Multi Coating technology, it delivers exceptional sharpness, contrast and colour rendition with minimal flare and ghosting. The ultra-fast T1.5 aperture makes it well suited to low-light shooting and professional cinema work, while the de-clicked aperture ring enables silent, smooth iris control during recording.

Designed with industry-standard geared rings, the lens features unified focus and aperture ring positions across the Samyang VDSLR II lineup, making it straightforward to integrate into multi-camera setups with follow focus systems. The geared focus ring offers a 140-degree rotation for precise manual focus control, and dual focus scales are marked on both sides of the barrel for easy reading from any angle. A minimum focusing distance of 30cm (12 inches) and a 77mm filter diameter round out the practical specifications for demanding video production environments.
