Hoya 55mm 82A HMC Filter

The Hoya 55mm 82A HMC Filter is a colour correction filter designed to cool ambient light entering your lens by approximately 200 degrees Kelvin, adding blue to the overall exposure for a cooler, more natural-looking tone. This light-balancing filter is ideal for film photographers and digital users who need to correct warm colour casts from tungsten-balanced film, incandescent lighting, or sunrise and sunset conditions. The HMC multi-coating minimises reflections, reduces flare, and enhances light transmission for optimal colour accuracy and image quality.

• Cools colour temperature by 200 degrees Kelvin to balance warm lighting conditions
• Six layers of HMC (Hoya Multi-Coated) for reduced reflections and enhanced light transmission
• Corrects reddish tones from tungsten film with household lighting or warm natural light
• Black metal filter body with 55mm screw-in thread for standard lens compatibility
• Quality optical glass ensures sharp, accurate images without colour distortion
