Ricoh WG-1000 Digital Camera (Military Olive)

Ricoh WG-1000: An Affordable Waterproof Camera for Everyday Adventures

A simple, tough compact camera that is waterproof to 15 metres, shockproof from 2 metres and dustproof, with a 16MP sensor, 4x zoom and 19 creative colour styles. Comes with a carabiner strap and a silicone case.

Who Is This Made For?

The WG-1000 is for families, students and travellers who want a rugged camera they can hand to anyone, from the pool to the campsite. It is also a practical choice for schools, workshops and job sites where a phone is too fragile or not allowed. A budget-friendly Ricoh camera that still goes underwater.

Waterproof to 15 Metres, Shockproof and Dustproof

The WG-1000 is sealed to JIS Class 8 for use down to 15 metres, survives a 2-metre drop, resists dust to IP6X and keeps working in the cold. Take it snorkelling, kayaking or to the beach without a second thought.

16MP Sensor with a 4x Wide-Angle Zoom

A 27 to 108mm equivalent lens starts wider than most compacts, so group shots and landscapes fit easily, and the 16-megapixel sensor gives plenty of detail for prints and sharing. Full HD video at 30fps and 120fps slow motion are built in.

Underwater Mode and Macro from 5cm

A dedicated Underwater mode corrects colours below the surface, and the 5cm macro setting brings shells, insects and textures into close-up. Panorama, Fireworks, Snow and Beach scene modes take care of the tricky settings.

Simple Controls and 19 Creative Colour Styles

Large buttons and a clear 2.7-inch screen make the WG-1000 easy for anyone to pick up. Colour styles such as Vivid, Japan Style, Black and White, Sepia, Partial Colour and Dreamy can be applied while shooting or in playback.

Carabiner Strap and Silicone Case in the Box

The included carabiner strap clips the camera to a bag or belt loop, and the silicone case adds extra protection against scuffs. USB-C charging and SD card storage keep things simple.
