Ricoh WG-M1 Action Camera (Orange)

Ricoh WG-M1: The Rugged Action Camera That Needs No Housing

An action camera that is waterproof to 10 metres straight out of the box, shockproof, freezeproof and simple to use, with a 160-degree ultra-wide lens and Full HD video.

Who Is This Made For?

The WG-M1 in Orange is for surfers, snorkellers, cyclists, skiers and families who want to record the action without fiddling with a waterproof case. Big buttons work with gloves on, and the built-in screen means you can frame and check shots on the spot. A no-fuss Ricoh camera for people who would rather be doing than setting up.

Waterproof to 10 Metres Without a Case

The body itself is sealed to JIS Class 8, so the WG-M1 dives to 10 metres with nothing extra fitted. It also survives a 2-metre drop and keeps working at -10C, so snow, surf and mud are all fair game.

160-Degree Ultra-Wide Lens and Full HD Video

The F2.8 ultra-wide lens takes in the whole scene from a helmet, handlebar or chest mount. Record Full HD at 30fps, 1280×960 at 50fps for extra smoothness, or 120fps at 848×480 for slow-motion replays, all with stereo sound. Electronic stabilisation steadies bumpy footage.

A Colour Screen You Can Actually Use

Unlike most action cameras of its class, the WG-M1 has a 1.5-inch colour LCD, so you can line up the shot and review clips immediately. Large, clearly marked buttons make it easy to start recording with wet hands or gloves.

Smartphone Control and Hands-Free Mounting

Built-in Wi-Fi links the camera to your phone for remote live view, shutter release and quick sharing. Time Lapse, Loop Recording and Motion Detection modes cover long drives, trail cams and dashcam-style use, and the included WG Flat Adhesive Mount gets you shooting hands-free right away.
