On APS-C format bodies this lens provides an 84mm equivalent, while on the smaller MFT mount, the equivalent length is a longer 112mm. This lens is suited to portraiture, delivering a tighter crop without you having to be too close and in your subject’s personal space, while the bright f1.4 maximum aperture is capable of capturing the exceptionally shallow depths of fields desired by aspiring portrait photographers.
