The Sigma 24mm F2 DG DN Contemporary is a fast wide-angle prime lens belonging to Sigma’s premium I series, designed from the ground up for full-frame mirrorless cameras using the Sony E-mount. It delivers exceptional edge-to-edge sharpness and high-contrast rendering across the entire frame, thanks to an advanced optical construction featuring 13 elements in 11 groups including two SLD elements, one FLD element, and two high-precision glass-molded aspherical elements which together correct chromatic aberration and various other optical aberrations with precision.

Housed in a premium all-metal body, the lens features a manual aperture ring, a smooth focus ring, and a stepping motor that enables smooth, quiet, and high-speed autofocus with support for Face/Eye Detection AF and video AF. Its bright f/2 maximum aperture makes it an excellent choice for low-light shooting, night sky and astrophotography, landscape, architecture, interiors, and street photography, while its compact and lightweight form factor weighing just 360g makes it an ideal everyday wide-angle companion for Sony E-mount mirrorless shooters.
